Changes to my study programme

Hi classmates.
 In this post I want to write about some changes that I thick are necessary for the geography career in our faculty.
Some changes that I think that helps to get better the study programme of geography can be: At first place, the inclusion of chemistry signature (or applied chemistry for geographers) in the curriculum, for learn about the different chemical compounds present in the environment. The same for oceanography, that is a interesting area related to the sea bottom geography and the interaction of the oceanic ecosystems. As for the faculty facilities, the lack of laboratories and the no experience in tools use like microscope or centrifuges can perjudice or conditions work opportunities, specially in lab work. Also, sometimes the lack of support to elaborate students projects is a disadvantage in comparison with others universities. Geography dosen't need use a great technology (at least in FAU) , but in the real world the use of technologies is very important in labor competence. At last, in the case of the teaching methods, I like the most of my teachers, some not so much, but time will tell what happens to them. I hope that my college mates in geo are agree with the commeents and critics that I have about the career.
